What we’re building.

Chapel brings together an audio Bible app and an interactive atlas of Christian history. They offer two ways to spend time with Scripture: listening to its words, and exploring its historical context.

The Atlas connects people, places, works and source records. The mobile app is in development, beginning with chapter listening, reading, a sleep timer and offline downloads.

A source is a starting point.

The Atlas uses public Wikidata records and Wikipedia reading editions. Sources and revisions remain available so you can follow the evidence. Automatically assembled relationships are not independently verified historical conclusions.

Your privacy.

You can explore the Atlas without an account. The early-access list is currently paused, and this site is not collecting new email addresses.
